Update #5

Ryan arrived at Walter Reed around 5 p.m. He is still on a respirator. He still has no sensitivity on his left side.

His left arm is scraped up. His left eye looks bruised. And, he's a bit puffy looking. But, other than that, he looks pretty good.

The doctors are pretty positive about his condition. Over the next couple of days we'll find out more about his brain injury and its relation to his left side.

They are going to do another CT scan and an MRI. They did a chest x-ray and that will determine the extent of his lung damage and pneumonia.

In typical Ryan fashion, he can't sit still even under sedation. He was trying to pull all the monitor cords and tubes off of him. I know he just wants to be free of all that junk and awake.
