In speech therapy, Ryan read some articles to his therapist. He was supposed to summarize what he just read, but (as he put it) he was saved by the bell. The bell was a fire drill in the facility. So, he got lucky this time. ;)
In PT, Ryan walked around the PC. He also tested QLI's new recumbent bike. (It's like a bicycle with three wheels and a seat with a backrest.)
For outdoor therapy this afternoon, one of the therapists took Ryan on a 2-3 mile bike ride on a local trail using the new recumbent bike. Ryan said he really enjoyed it and hoped to do it every week.
In occupational therapy, Ryan had to put together a simple block puzzle and move different color code beads every minute using his left hand.
Ryan is such a thoughtful guy. For his life skills outing, Ryan went to the Cheescake Factory and bought a cheesecake for his house. Everyone was so happy that the pudding cups were replaced by Kahlua Coffee Cheesecake. Mmmmm....
