Day 38

In speech today, Ryan read an article out loud to his therapist.

In constraint induced therapy, he played a game of Uno with the therapist while moving rings over the arch (all with his left hand).

In PT, Ryan worked on the hand bike. He also walked around the facility with his therapist. His walking is getting much better. The therapist doesn't have to do much to support Ryan at all. Though Ryan still can't walk on his own, he is getting better every day. The therapist works with Ryan on weight shifting and balance.

Ryan's speech therapist gave Ryan an assignment to build a power point presentation evaluating the presidential candidates. He started working on that this afternoon.

In life skills, Ryan worked with the therapist to print out copies of his handouts for his military protocol presentation. He will be giving that sometime in the near future.
