Day 32

In speech therapy this morning, the therapist worked with Ryan on his verbal skills. He had to talk with a new therapist and give her a brief history on himself.

Ryan briefed another therapist on the presentation he'd been working on about military greetings. The therapist revised his brief, and asked that he give the presentation to a larger audience of staff members in the near future.

In PT, Ryan worked on the light gait. He also played more zoom ball while standing. Ryan also hit a balloon back and forth and tossed a medicine ball back and forth while standing.

Today, Ryan had another appointment to go to. He had a dentist appointment at the air force base. The purpose of the appointment was a regular check up and to evaluate Ryan's left jaw joint. He has been reporting some pain in his left jaw joint when he chews, yawns, and just moves it in general. The dentist was able to do the cleaning and get some x-rays. He wants Ryan to come back on Monday to have an oral surgeon look at him and possibly take more x-rays. The good news is, Ryan was cavity free! ;)

This evening, Ryan went out, with a couple therapists, to get the ingredients for his next meal. He is going to make a cheeseburger pizza. Yum!
