After speech, he had life skills. On Mondays, Ryan and the life skills therapist will go out to eat lunch together. Ryan has to do research and pick the place in advance.
After lunch, Ryan had physical therapy. The therapist stretched his left leg and had him walk on the "light gait." This is the machine where he is harnessed above a treadmill. He walked on that for a while. The therapist still has to help Ryan stretch his left leg out to full extension so that he can get that "heel to toe" motion.
After PT, Ryan had more life skills therapy with a different therapist. In these sessions, the therapist will work with Ryan on organization skills, financial skills, and other planning skills that occur in every day life.
