Day 12

Today, Ryan had OT followed by speech therapy. After lunch, Ryan had PT. In PT, Ryan did more light gait therapy. He helped in the training process of another student. The therapists also worked on Ryan's standing balance. He had to stand and hit a balloon back and forth using both arms. The therapists then stretched Ryan's left leg and shoulder. 

Ryan also had constraint induced therapy today. He had to move a bar up a series of hooks using only his left hand and arm. He did pretty good. The great thing about Ryan is that he won't quit. He just keeps persisting until he achieves his goal. He has the perfect attitude needed to get better. :)

At the end of the day, Ryan had to get his speech assignment from the therapist. She gave him another mock brief topic. She told him to work on it from 9:30 to 11:30 on Saturday morning.
