In PT, Ryan was a test subject for a "new" walking machine. It's this really cool machine that holds Ryan up and attaches to his legs. The machine can move his legs as much or as little as needed. It all depends on how much the therapists want it to help Ryan. It was really cool to see Ryan walking (even if it was machine automated). The therapists want to use it on Ryan again. Eventually they will take the assistance down to the bare minimal and it will be Ryan doing all the walking.
Ryan had another important visitor today. The medic that took care of Ryan when he was injured came to visit. He was able to better describe the situation. Apparently, Ryan was found in the ditch I described earlier. Only his foot and the dirt bike (motorcycle?) were visible. Ryan was probably outside for close to four hours before someone found him. I'm so glad that they found Ryan when they did and that he is alive and doing well.
I am so grateful to the medic that first helped Ryan, and to everyone that helped get Ryan safely home. I appreciate everyone that sat by his side and held his hand along the way. I appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers. And, more importantly, Ryan wanted me to thank everyone for their support. So, thank you, again! :)
