In speech therapy, Ryan was treated to a "shocking" new therapy. To benefit the left side of Ryan's face, the therapist used electro-stimulation. The left side of Ryan's face, like the entire left side of his body is recovering slower from his accident. It's only slightly noticeable. (It's little things like his smile is a little uneven.) But, the e-stim on his face could help him cosmetically. Also, any speech issues he might be having that are a result of the muscles on the left side of his face could be resolved through this therapy.
After his facial e-stim, the speech therapist worked with Ryan on some voice exercises.
In constraint induced therapy, Ryan worked on the hand bike using his left hand.
In outdoor pursuits, Ryan did a couple laps around campus on the recumbent bike. He also worked with his therapist on planning the details about the camping trip.
