Blocked Route?
There is an obstacle in your way. You cannot go around it. You must go over it. You don't think you can make it over it so you turn around. You lose. You justify the failure in your head. Here's the Bottom Line: You quit before you even began. Maybe you do try but don't make it. Now you know w/o a doubt that you cannot do it. You gained first hand knowledge of the strength, both mental and physical, needed to make it to the other side. Maybe you do try and you make it. Not only are you just that much wiser now, but your feeling of self worth and confidence has risen, and your ego is boosted! Not to mention you now have an experience to motivate and encourage you the next time that you hit a roadblock.
