This is something that I picked up in my college speech class. TableTopics. This game is a great therapy tool. A person would select a card from the stack. The card might say "Why do you like the color red?". The person then has several minutes to think about his or her response. The person would then verbally deliver their response in an organized format.
What it does is it makes a person logically answer random questions in a clear, concise way. A person may need to recall pieces of information that they might have not fully recognized. The person must also retain their thoughts and sufficiently communicate them. Now a person is using part's of the brain that may not be used in an everyday activity.
