Even a curveball can be a made into a home run!

About seven years ago, Sean Sanford (best friend from our early days) and several other friends were in a car accident. Sean suffered a very serious brain injury and was in a coma for about three weeks while the Doctors waited for his brain to stop swelling. The Doctors thought he was done. They even told his family so, but his family and all his amazing friends refused to believe it and were at his bedside every night. He made a miraculous recovery and once they knew he would live, they were certain that his quality of life would be next to nothing. The Doctors told his family that he very well might never be capable of doing anything on his own ever again. But he, his family members, and wonderful friends, fought long and hard and refused to believe that he wouldn't recover. Now, Sean lives in the Bay Area of California and writes for a successful magazine.
His advice: YOU CAN MAKE IT OUT OF THIS. Don't be afraid to lean on the people you love

Like me. You can lean on me and the rest of us in this wild Italian family.
