Enjoy the Sunshine!

I don't know what the title means, it was the first thing that popped into my head.

Friday: I went to HBO Therapy. I also went to a highly recommend gym, I met my personal trainer and we spent an hour or so going through the exercises, next Tuesday is my first official day. I also had dinner with Andy and Marci Peterson, their son Conrad, and Mrs. Peterson’s father. Andy and Marci’s father were involved in a horrible motor vehicle accident about five years ago. Both men received many life threatening injuries to include a Traumatic Brain Injury. To see them both up, walking and talking, with no indication that an event like that had even occurred, was very, very motivational. It helps bring light to the end of a dark tunnel. As it turns out, Andy was stationed at my former command and we just missed each other by less than a year.

Saturday: Today was pretty calm. I did some chores then I went to the gym. After the treadmill, stationary recumbent bike, triceps kickbacks, and sit-ups on a balance ball...I was smoked. Next it time for General Toa's tasty chicken breasts followed by copious amounts of Cherry Garcia Ice Cream.
