We're Home!

After over nine months, we finally made it back home. Sorry for the delay in posting this. We arrived home on December 13th and have been running around like crazy ever since. We have a lot of unpacking to do, and a lot of mail to sort through. We've been trying to catch up with all of our friends when we can. Throw in Ryan's Birthday, Christmas and New Year, and we've barely had time to think.

We would like to thank everyone for the letters, cards and care packages. And, also, we would love to thank everyone who helped out at our house. So, THANKS! Really, really...THANK YOU. We received so much support and kindness. It really helped make our lives easier.

Ryan is still going to attend some outpatient therapy here in Virginia. QLI recommended that he continue physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. He will also need vocational (work-related) therapy when he is ready to return to work. As of right now, we don't know what is going to happen with his current job. He may have to take a leave of absence, or he may be medically separated from the military. When we have more information, we will let everyone know. Our first goal is to stay in the area. After that, we have no clue. Our future is very uncertain right now. But, our lives are stable and secure. No worries! :)

Right now we are both working on settling back in to our "normal" lives. We need to reestablish a routine that works for us and get used to having our privacy back.

The blog will be updated sporadically, but if you should want more info, please shoot us an email.

We hope everyone had a good holiday season! And, we wish everyone a very happy New Year!
