After reading, Ryan worked out on the hand bike for a while. Following that, Ryan and I had a meeting with his entire team of therapists. They discussed Ryan's progress and his future goals. There is no "definite" discharge yet. But, Ryan and I did set a goal of three more months here. The team thought that was reasonable goal. It could be a little shorter, or a little longer depending on Ryan's progress. But, the goal is set. :)
In speech therapy, Ryan read the speech of Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin. He had to read it and pull out the pertinent information for a summary. Following that, another speech therapist worked with Ryan using facial e-stim.
In PT, Ryan walked around the inside of the facility with the therapist. For cognitive computer therapy, Ryan worked on his presidential brief. In constraint therapy, Ryan played Flipping Frogs.
Ryan also had medical management. One of the nurses, helped Ryan fill his weekly medication cassettes.

Can't believe you're setting a discharge goal, but 3 months sounds great! You'll be home for the holidays. Now that we're a lot closer, we can see you in VA or DC. Keep up the good work!
