This morning, Ryan had speech and physical therapy. He also worked with his recreational therapist on planning his "outdoor" activities for the next three weeks. Ryan will be going to the zoo, going swimming, and going fishing. (I'm not sure in what order.)
This afternoon, Ryan was visited by a Two Star General from the local air force base, along with his wife and the wife of one of the Admirals at the base. It was really nice to meet them and chat for a while. They were very thoughtful and supportive. Eventually, Ryan and I will go out to the base to see their "field house." Apparently, it's this huge gym in an old airplane bunker. It's supposed to be one awesome facility.
