Day 16

This morning, Ryan had PT followed by occupational therapy at lunch. In OT, Ryan had to prepare and grill his famous ranch burgers. The PT and OT therapists worked together to get Ryan to stand for a lot of the prep work. The burgers turned out pretty good, too. :)

After lunch, Ryan did some cognitive exercises on the computer.

A few Navy guys from the local area came to visit Ryan and another Navy guy at the facility. They offered their services and support to both of us. It turns out, the Wheelchair Olympics are in town this weekend. Ryan and his speech/vocational therapist thought it would be a good idea for him to volunteer at the games. So, Ryan and I will be volunteering at the games this Saturday morning.

Later in the afternoon, Ryan and another therapist sat down and planned out what he was going to do on Sunday. It looks like dinner and another movie are on the agenda. Fun! :)
